We understand the placement of a death notice is one of many details to be handled at a difficult time. As a service to families and to funeral homes, Detroit Media Partnership has created two ways for you place a notice:

PLEASE NOTE: Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please use the online form if you are
submitting after 6 pm. on Friday and on Saturday and Sunday.
The rate to place a death notice in the newspaper and on the Internet is $11.95 per line.
If you can't locate your loved one's notice, please review your spelling and/or the search date selected.
The death notices found on this website are those that have been listed in the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News since late 2001. Please keep in mind these notices were paid to be listed by the
family of the deceased. This site is not a complete list of everyone who has passed on in the metro Detroit area.
