Of Jerome, MI went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at her home under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Home Health & Hospice, age 66 years. She was the daughter of Margaret and Emmett Talbot, born January 7, 1943 in Detroit, MI. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard Bialczyk; four children, Lisa (Thomas) Bachman Jr., David Bialczyk, Bridget (Michael) Murphy, and Eric (Mindy) Bialczyk; seven grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Toni) Talbot; sister, Kay Czarnik; several nieces, nephews, cousins. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church, 10720 Hayes Rd., Clarklake, MI, Monday, July 6, 2009 at 11a.m., Reverend Lehr Barkenquest officiating, interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 25800 W. 10 Mile Rd., Southfield, MI. 48037. Memorial contributions may be made to University of Michigan Cancer Center, 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Loving father of David A. and his wife Lynn of Ferndale, and Nancy (Cottrill, DVM) and her husband Brian Lafferty of Andover, MA. Beloved grandfather of Fiona Lafferty. Predeceased by his sister Alice Wright, and brother Compton Cottrill. Jim retired as a financial analyst from Chrysler Corporation in 1987. He was active at Presbyterian Village of Redford (where he resided) on several committees. His passion was gardening; he volunteered at Cranbrook Gardens in Bloomfield. Memorial service at Greenfield Presbyterian Church, 2312 Greenfield Rd. (N. of 11 Mile Rd), Berkley at 7 pm Monday, July 13. passed away on June 30, 2009 at St. John Oakland Macomb Hospital Macomb Campus at age 65. She was born August 28, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Leo and Genevieve Zyskowski. Beloved wife of the late William Jr. Dear mother of William III (Jodi) Kolakowski and John (Jill) Kolakowski. Dear grandmother of Michael, Emma, Lily, Jane, and Graham. Dear sister of Susan (Michael) Hein. Also survived by many loving friends, cousins and other extended family members. Diana was a 1965 University of Detroit graduate with a B.S. in chemistry. Her life time career history included being a research chemist at Detroit Institute of Cancer Research & Michigan Cancer Foundation, Substitute Teacher for Warren Consolidated and Utica School Districts, and was the Macomb County Commissioner from 1983-2006 (She was the first female chairman of the Board) and The Economic Development Director for the City of Warren. She was a lector and a member of the choir at St. Anne Church, member of Warren Community Chorus and served on many different community boards and organizations. Visitation Thursday 3-9 p.m. and Friday 2-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (west of Hoover) Warren. In state Saturday 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anne Church, 32000 Mound Road (north of 13 Mile) Warren.
